Stress at moderate levels is the basis for tasting success. However leading a stressful life can be life demanding itself. High level of stress can cause severe health problems. So by all means try as much as possible to prevent from getting over-stressed.

Avoid unhealthy ways to deal with stress. They can prove futile in the longer run. Overcoming stress doesn't mean drinking, smoking or under-eating. As a body needs balanced diet to stay fit, a well-balanced life requires well-managed stress.

Identify the reason for stress and address the issues with proper attention. Develop the habit of taking breaks at regular intervals, because "All work and no play will sure make Jack a dull boy". Find time to relax and make it a point to spend enough time with your family and friends. This will help you bring down your stress levels thereby enriching your mind and thoughts.

The positive approach to reduce and prevent stress is to accept and then learn to cope with it.
