Supervising a team of sales engineers/Business Managers and Sales Co-ordinator 

Independent responsibility for managing sales and business development activities of the segment in his region 

Responsibility of spending discretionary marketing budgets given to them from time to time from Corporate TA/DA budget vs expense of Business Managers/ Sales engineers / Sales Profitability 

Responsible for achieving business plan and AOP targets in the region; managing and supporting dealer network; developing, sustaining and servicing direct customers; giving technical support in the field; attending industrial customer complaints; sales forecasting; MIS reporting 

Regional C and I Team Management: Responsible for managing a team of Industrial Coordinators and Sales Coordinator. Also managing various activities, sales, cross-functional coordination, administrative activities relevant to C and I segment. 

Annual Plan Targets: Achieving Annual Plan targets of the region in Cummins, Institutional and Compressor product segments. Responsible for Profit and Loss management of Region 

Channel Management: Look after sales and business development of Cummins grade of lubricants through a network of Cummins dealers, compressor dealers and direct institutional customers in the region. 

Sales Forecasts: Forecast monthly sales from the depots. 

MIS Reports: Prepare, generate and present MIS reports to the top management as per companys requirement. 

Regularly interact with the finance and the account department for outstanding control and receivables management. Payment collections and form collections from the customers. 

Technical Support : Providing technical support to the customers and handling customer complaints through POST or otherwise. 

Marketing Programs : Implementation of various marketing programs at the field level viz. customer meets, dealer service engineer training program, dealer meets, local schemes to boost sales, competition tracking and feedback to HO, etc. 

OEMS: Supporting HO OEM initiatives locally 

Finance, Logistics, C and I Marketing, Regional office, IT. 

Existing and Potential customers 

Dealers-To build a relationship and to enhance sales 

Local Cummins offices 

OEMs 

10-12 years prior experience in Sales out of which 4-5 yrs experience of handling a team independently at regional level 

Track record of achieving laid down targets and create sustain a wide customer base. 

Exposure to different Industries in the region with high caliber for industrial / institutional selling 

Man management skills 

Ability to drive sales and achieve plans 

Understanding of market expansion and competition 

Ability to benchmark performance against key operational targets and set goals. 

Ability to work in cross functional teams 

Strong communication skills 

Ability to establish, develop and maintain excellent relationships and rapport with the corporate houses and business groups. 

Result-producing leader with excellent abilities of handling a hi-performance team and successful implementation of business objectives 

Good analytical skills
